KYC Validation Process in NSE KRA(Dotex kra)

To validate your KYC (Know Your Customer) records with the NSE KRA (National Stock Exchange KYC Registration Agency), the process outlined is as follows. This is particularly relevant for those who have Aadhaar-based records (whether through Normal KYC or Online KYC). Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how to validate your KYC:

Step-by-Step Guide to KYC Validation on NSE KRA:

1. Go to the NSE KRA Website

2. Enter Your PAN Number and Captcha

  • On the KYC Inquiry page, enter your PAN number and fill in the Captcha for verification.

  • Click on the Submit button.

3. View Your KYC Status

  • After submission, a pop-up will appear showing the following:

    • Your KYC status.

    • The KYC mode (whether it’s Online or Normal KYC).

    • The type of POA/POI document you have (for example, Aadhaar).

  • If the KYC status shows “KYC Registered” and the mode is either Online or Normal KYC, proceed to the next step.

4. Click “Initiate” Under Validate PAN

  • Click on the “Initiate” button located under the Validate PAN section.

  • Follow the prompts provided by the website.

5. Download Your E-Aadhaar

  • If you haven’t already downloaded your E-Aadhaar, follow the instructions to download it.

    • You will need to have an Aadhaar number to access this.

  • If you have already downloaded your E-Aadhaar, click the option “I have downloaded the masked E-Aadhaar”.

6. Upload Your E-Aadhaar

  • Upload your masked E-Aadhaar document.

  • The password for the E-Aadhaar is the first four letters of your first name in uppercase followed by your birth year. For example:

    • If your name is Prajwal Amin and your birth year is 2025, the password would be PRAJ2025.

7. Successful Submission

  • After successful submission, you should see a confirmation message stating: “QR Scanned successfully”.

  • Your KYC status will then be updated, and your validation process will be complete.

Important Notes:

  • Ensure that the Aadhaar you are using for validation is up-to-date and the details match your PAN information.

  • The E-Aadhaar document should be masked for privacy. The QR code on your Aadhaar should be scanned successfully during this process.

  • If you have trouble downloading or uploading the required documents, ensure that you are following the password format correctly (first four letters of your name in uppercase + year of birth).

This process ensures that your KYC is successfully validated with NSE KRA, enabling you to trade on the exchange with all your documents in place.
