Step-by-Step Process to Update GSTIN Registration for Mutual Fund Distributors

You can update your GSTIN registration using any one of the following 3 methods.

Option 1 — Online GSTIN Update through CAMS Website

Step 1: Open GST Update Page

Visit:

CAMS GST Update Portal

Step 2: Enter PAN & ARN

1. Enter:
   • PAN Number
   • ARN Number
2. Click on Submit / Generate OTP.

Step 3: Verify OTP

1. OTP will be sent to:
   • Registered Mobile Number
   • Registered Email ID
2. Enter OTP and proceed.

Step 4: Update GSTIN Details

1. Select State.
2. Enter State-wise GSTIN Number.
3. Verify GSTIN carefully.

Step 5: Upload GST Certificate

1. Upload scanned copy/image of:
   • GST Registration Certificate

Accepted formats generally:

• PDF
• JPG
• PNG

Step 6: Submit Request

1. Check all details.
2. Click Submit.
3. Save acknowledgment/reference number.

Option 2 — Update GSTIN Through Email

Step 1: Prepare Documents

Keep ready:

• GSTIN Number
• Scanned GST Registration Certificate

Step 2: Send Email

Send from your registered email ID to:

amfigst@camsonline.com

Include:

• ARN Number
• PAN Number
• GSTIN Number
• Contact Details

Attach:

• GST Registration Certificate copy

Option 3 — Submit at CAMS Service Centre

Step 1: Prepare Documents

Carry:

• GST Registration Certificate photocopy
• Covering Letter mentioning:
  • ARN Number
  • PAN Number
  • GSTIN Number
  • Mobile Number

Step 2: Visit Nearest CAMS Service Centre

Submit hard copies at nearest CAMS branch.

Find CAMS Service Centre

Step 3: Verification & Update

CAMS team will:

• Scan documents
• Update GSTIN in AMFI ARN database

Important Notes

• GSTIN should match PAN details.
• Upload clear certificate copy.
• Use only registered email/mobile for verification.
• State-wise GSTIN can be updated separately if applicable.
